About Kathy Altonji

Alt Events
Kathy Altonji is the founder, president and owner of Alt Events. After an early career in the dental world, and a long history of producing major events for charitable organizations as a volunteer and organization leader, as well as consulting on numerous private functions, Kathy started her business to systematically offer her talents to a broader range of clients. Over the course of her career, she has worked with clients as diverse as national sports organizations, historical museums, and retail business interests to produce events critical to current and future success of her clients.
Kathy is a 1984 graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, and lives with her family in Glenview, Illinois. She is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Glenview Optimists and numerous Chambers of Commerce in the Chicago suburban area, as well as a member of various not-for-profit boards.
Kathy was recently chosen as a runner-up in the National Association of Women Business Owners “Exceptional Women, Exceptional Leaders” contest. She is featured on the NAWBO website www.nawbo.org–Please take a look.
